Ferro Chess LLC (“Ferro,” “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: contact@ferrochess.com.

What we collect

  • When you join the waitlist or newsletter: your email address.

  • When you order: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, and order details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive your full card number.

  • When you contact us: what you choose to send.

  • When you visit the site: basic, aggregated usage data such as pages viewed and device type. We use advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel / TikTok Pixel to measure our ads.

How we use it

To fulfil and ship your order, send receipts and production updates, respond to you, send the updates you signed up for, understand how the site is used, and meet legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers who help us run Ferro, and only what they need: Stripe (payments), Beehiiv (email), our shipping carriers, and the platforms that host our website. We may disclose information if required by law. We never sell your personal information.

Emails

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in every email. Order-related emails, such as receipts and shipping updates, are sent for as long as your order is active.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Waitlist and newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing, by emailing contact@ferrochess.com. If you are in the UK, EU or Norway, you also have rights under the GDPR, including data portability and the right to object, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. We process order data to perform our contract with you, and marketing data with your consent. California residents have similar rights under California law.

International transfers

Ferro is based in the United States, and your information is processed there.

Children

Our site and products are not directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
